To help fulfill our mission, VODIS Carbon is looking for certain OEM components that will later be utilized for producing some of the industry’s favorite pieces.
If your application is approved, you will receive a FREE carbon fiber product from VODIS Carbon! That’s our way of thanking you for helping us with our mission to creating more stylish components.
You will be receiving a free VODIS Carbon product that is equivalent to or of lesser value than the one you are exchanging. If you are exchanging a hood you will be able to pick any carbon fiber hood style that you would like; whether it’s OEM or vented. Our products are both functional and stylish. We are sure you will have no trouble finding a new hood for your car.
Yes and no. Because this program is about finding quality OEM stock pieces, physical inspection and measurements will be necessary. In circumstances like these, local residents are the most appropriate and will be given priority over non-local applicants.
Non-local applicants who don’t mind driving to our offices for measurements and inspection can also apply for this program.
We encourage you to apply even if VODIS Carbon doesn’t make parts for your car. Who knows, we may begin producing those components thanks to you. As a reward, you will receive a rain check for a free carbon fiber component like the one you traded in, or get a product for your second ride.
Everyone has a different perspective when it comes to the significance of a damage; so we are asking for pictures to be submitted along with the application form. This will give us a better idea of the condition the component is in.
Aftermarket “OEM” hoods will NOT be accepted in this program. At this time we are only looking for OEM hoods made by the vehicle’s manufacturer.
The process is quite simple. Simply fill in the e-application on our website, take pictures of your stock piece and upload the images in upload box on the e-application. For hoods, you should include shots from:
The front, quarter (fender shot), left and right fenders, left and right corners, engine bay, latch (must be an up-close shot), and fender bolts.
A VODIS Carbon representative will contact you either by phone or email within 3 business days of receiving your application.
When the representative contacts you, he/she will let you know if your component is a candidate for this program. If your component qualifies as a candidate, you will be given an appointment date and time in which the OEM part will be inspected. Approval will be determined after your OEM component has been physically inspected while it is on the vehicle. If your component is approved after physical inspection, you will be able to take your new VODIS Carbon component with you that same day.
No need to worry about installation. VODIS Carbon will gladly install the new hood for you, unless you prefer to get it installed elsewhere. If this is the case, you are more than welcome to take the hood with you and get it installed at your own convenience.
